Principal News & Updates (Dan/Tim)
- 10 new walkie talkies are in
- Intent to volunteer form needed again this year 
- Faculty favorites form is ready to be sent out, added allergies 
 - Oct capital improvement meeting - field is cycle maintenance, they will get to it. Also working on new playgrounds. 

Treasurer Update (Karen/Chris)
- Financials (May 2025 and June 2025)

- Opened money market account to accrue interest 

- We had 2 stripe accounts, one had 11,332.58 that had the wrong bank account number, moved this to the correct account. 25,028.19 was moved to the money market (saving for marquee)

- As of 7/31/25
Checking account - $10,100.66
Money Market account - $25,028.19

- Mini Grants - Open in August
Paper for approval
Same QR code/google form for submitting receipts and tracking

Cash/check only - will put in PTO newsletter 
New Geggie students get their free shirts
Spiritwear drop off to donate - will be given out on back to school night (first come, first serve) - drop boxes in neighborhoods, wash, bring to Geggie

- Volunteers: Christine, Sam, Ashley, Starr, Maggie, Karen 4pm-6pm: 2 shifts

Tiger Fun(d) Run Update (Lisa/Emily)
- Meeting with PE teachers - likely next week before beginning of school
- Add stations (jumping jacks, etc) rather than just running
Holiday blow ups? Do station activities match the blow up? (example: throw snowballs in a bucket)

- Flat donations only - instead of per lap

- Volunteers by grade

- Trinkets - keychain, rubber bracelet, water bottle sticks (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)

- Dress up days

- Money donation incentive
Principals sleep on the roof

- Teacher communication
Give them a script for teachers to send to parents 

- Ensure parents know it is NOT the 5K

- Using booster platform only 
“95% of donation goes back to Geggie”

- CITY2 Soccer Game Fundraiser - September 28th
$15/ticket
One student gets to be PA announcer for opening

- Increase share events this year? (nothing bunt cakes, cinnamon rolls, pies, decorate Geggie cookies)

- Square card reader
Look into getting a Square 

- Geggie PTO volunteer shirts?

- Special persons day - donated bagels instead of buying cinnamon rolls?
