Principal News & Updates (Dan/Tim)

• Looking into non-living decorative options for planters out front (5 planters)
• Meredith Vandoran can help, Sara Favior will reach out
• Preconstruction meeting for HVAC - building will be closed for the entire summer, starting last day of school through Aug 11 (anticipated return date)
• PTO will book library conference rooms for June and August meetings

  • Mrs. Presley - $600 - audiobook versions of the 2026-2027 Mark Twain award books

  • Mrs. McCaw and Mrs. Finney - $412 - idea storage for math and phonics

  • Mrs. Benoist - $55.98 - The Genius Square Game (2)

Approval of January Agenda (Christine/Kati)

Trivia Night (Kati/Chris)

• Teacher, 4 VIP tables, 22 tables total
• Prize for winning table will be a free table for next year
• Set up at noon, Brookdale
• Silent Auction/Experience Auction 
• Opened this morning, site seems good
• Raffle items are all $5/ticket
• Everything on the site will be on display including experiences, everything will have a QR code to take you to that item to bid
• MC will mention auction items between each round and close to closing
• Scheduled facebook post reminders
• Looking at quotes for new parking signs (teacher of the year, auction family spot)

Geggie's Got Talent (Courtney)

• Preview went well, 9 came in, 3 sent video
• 12 acts total + a teacher act
• Rehearsal Feb 25, Show Feb 26
• Auctioning off 4 front row seats - make sure they are reserved

PTO Website (Christine/Kati)

• Regarding “tipping” and payment experience, we are unable to say ‘do not include a tip’ or ‘set tip to zero’ - possibly stop using their platform for purchases
• Karen will speak with Presidents Forum
• Look into Zeffy for purchases

Taste of the World (Maggie)

• Start really promoting after trivia night
• 4-6 tables already registered

Geggie Night at the Ballpark (Christine) to watch the choir sing

• Required to sell 350+ tickets required for choir to sing
• Choir will sell 300, starting today-spring break
• PTO sell 50, start selling after spring break
• Suggest if families want to sit near each other to purchase tickets together 
• $30/ticket - May 1st against the Dodgers 

City2 Fundraiser (Elyse)

• Player pals option
• Sun March 22nd 4pm

Misc. Business (Christine/Kati)

• Civil War speaker
  • $250 (increased by $100 from previous years)
• Marquee -
  • Contract signed, initial payment tomorrow
  • $9,000 under budget
  • Install will be done by end of school year
• PTO Presidents’ Forum - Wednesday, 2/11 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
