- Planning to replace the sun sails, tables outside with extra funds.
Treasurer Update (Karen/Chris)
- Checking Account closing balance (1/31/26): $23,029.52
- Money Market Account closing balance (2/01/26): $50,177.34
- $10,000 transferred to high yield savings on 1/14/26
- Mini Grants-$2,464.91 left
- Wickman- Game for supporting phonics skills. 4 games for $40. Check with district approval. Christine to reach out.
- Karen McBride motions, Chris Alexander seconds, all in favor. Approved
- Note: Anything with curriculum or technology needs district approval.
- Kayla Kelly- Anchor chart paper- 5th grade. 64 students. $26.97
- Vote hold-Teacher funds?
- Mrs. Benoist- Requesting funds for the Student Council celebration.Total of 26, 4th/5th grade students. Purchasing Picture frames with a vinyl Geggie tiger paw, juice, donuts, snacks- Deborah to order for tax excemption. $89.58

Approval of the marquee contractor (Led Craft Inc.)
- Starr Carroll makes motion, Chris A. seconds, all in favor. Marquee contract approved.
Trivia Night Recap (Kati/Chris)
- Silent Auction/Experience Auction: Total made $13,496.72. More than anticipated!
- Table sales generated $10,624.09. Expenses: $8,393.87. Net: $2,230.22.
- Book now for next year to save the 2027 date- late February suggested, 20th?
- Check with trivia company before signing
- Silent Auction generated $11,500.
- PTO paid $200 in credit card fees.
- Lottery basket did really well- 207 tickets sold
- Basket made $1,035
- $255 from 50/50 donated back to PTO
- The Silent Auction platform (32auctions) worked better than last year.
- Sarah’s on Central ended up donating the deserts for free
- Future discussions if we want to stay at Brookdale. Look into new options.
Elyse suggested replacing the parking signs. 2 parking and teachers of the year
- Bid from Eureka signs. $40 each. Purchase to come from operating expenses

Taste of the World (Maggie)
- Up to 20 families have signed up
- Chris to donate stamps
- Decorate foyer bulletin board for event after spring break
- March- next Taste Committee meeting
Geggie Night at the Ballpark (Kati)
- Opening up after spring break (3/23/26- 4/4/26) using the same google form. Keep open for only 2 weeks.
- Create a QR code that goes to the PTO Stripe account. Link in google form
City2 Fundraiser (Elyse)
- 30 tickets sold so far. 11 students signed up
Open board positions (Christine/Kati)
- Per by-laws, vacant positions need to be posted

- Co-VP Fundraising (2 positions)
- One option- Emily stays on for another year to stagger the positions.
Misc. Business (Christine/Kati)
- Recap: Geggie’s Got Talent- the event went very well and ran smoothly.
- Set-up for 80 and needed more chairs
- Notes: For next year, find a staff support for MC position (Mr. Smith retiring)and to aid in theater equipment ordering (only Rockwood staff can order equipment). Set-up point person.
- PTO Presidents’ Forum - Wednesday, 3/11 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Meet the candidates, uncontested so no election is needed.
- Next Meeting: Wednesday, 4/1 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
- Summer meetings (6/3, 8/5) 6pm- meeting room at the police department- AJ Soll to set-up
- Confirmed with the Fire Chief- Meeting room reserved at House 1 @ 6pm for both dates. (executive group text)
- Front planters- Sarah favier to reach out to Mrs. Van Doren
- Emily Hagen - Teacher suggestions for updating teacher lounge decor (Mrs. Van Doren): new curtains, seating area chairs, wall decor.
- Further discussion needed after current project budgets are confirmed and completed.
- Before school closes for summer- need to get kindergarten signs out of the closet. Make a sign and post to encourage parents to give back the signs they have. Take inventory in May.
- Students get shirts in August at kindergarten connection (April 8th, 4:30-6:30pm) looking for volunteers to help show around.
