Library Schedule

Our library welcomes students daily during regular school hours. Students may visit the library with their classes or use a pass as often as they like with classroom their teacher's permission. The library doors are open for research, word processing, quiet reading or study time. Library classes are scheduled in collaboration between the librarian and classroom teachers. These classes integrate library skills within the curriculum of each unit of study.

Check Out

Students in Kindergarten may check out 2 books while students in grades 1-5 can check out 3 books. All students can check out more books for research or other projects as needed. In addition, students in grades 2-5 can check out a magazine or playaway as it is available. Books are due back to the library for check in or renewal for a period of 2 weeks.

Parents now have the ability to receive daily email notifications regarding the materials their child has checked out of the school library. Parents wishing to receive these daily emails should contact their child's school librarian to activate this feature.

Overdue Material

Overdue lists are periodically printed for the students. There is a charge for replacing lost or damaged materials.
